 SEREP invests in catalytic ozonation |
|
 With 50 years' experience in industrial wastewater treatment for sectors such as petrochemicals, chemicals, energy, mechanics or the food industry, SEREP (Sogestran group) has bought Technavox, a start-up specializing in Catalytic Ozonation.
Technavox has developed a technology using ozone and a TAO3 heterogeneous catalyst, which is not consumed, that degrades the organic material without generating sludge and thus treats hard COD. This innovative process performs better than a simple ozonation treatment and enables mineralization of the organic pollutants that can typically be refractory to oxidants. This pioneering process efficiently addresses the problem of hard COD and thus anticipates future requirements for treatment on parameters such as pesticides, aromatic and phenolic compound surfactants, carboxylic acids, PCBs, etc. |
